My husband has been gone two and a half months. Yes, I miss him....but it isn't overwhelming grief. I was so alone while married to him. Even our children were staying away as much as possible, and now that he is gone, they are helping me so much....

It has been over two weeks since my husband died, but due to financial reasons, he was just cremated yesterday. I picked up his ashes today.
It was difficult. I can't believe the feelings I had with his body in a little box on the passenger seat....

When my husband first passed away two weeks ago, I cried. I was sad...but not overwhelmingly so. And now, much of the time I hardly miss him.
