Every day, I turn on television, only to be horrified by the propaganda, and by the assumption of a completely brain dead viewer audience. Even more offensive is the re-definition of words in a way as to present meanings that are in no way true...

I remember so well as a child sitting with my grandparents, and there was the inevitable grudging grunt or groan, and Grandma might quietly mutter "Danged Arthritis" but she would say it Arthuritis. And then she went quietly about her business.

I write this first post feeling the heat of 100 plus temperatures in a land not really accustomed to such extremes. We moved to Minnesota when I retired 6 years ago to get away from the Texas heat only to find it has followed us here.
