Who are M&Ms and Leaders?

Eons Community Groups Manager and Moderators have a private group nicknamed "M&Ms" and Real Life Group Leaders have a private group nicknamed the Leaders Club. All managers, moderators, and leaders are invited to join either the M&Ms or the Leaders Club, depending on whether the group you create is a Community Group or a Real Life Group. We highly encourage anyone who is a group manager or moderator to accept the invitation to join these groups, as they provide invaluable information on running your group, sharing information and knowledge with other M&Ms, and getting pre-release information on changes to the eons.com site, so you can share that information with your group members.

How do I change my group’s name?

We discourage changing the group’s name as the page location (URL) will NOT be changed. But if you really want to change it and you are the current group manager, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Eons.
  2. Go to your group.
  3. Click the Manage Group link.
  4. Enter the new name in the Change Group Name box.
  5. Click the Update Settings button.

How do I delete a group?

At this time, Eons does not offer a way to delete a group. If you are a group manager and your group currently does not have any members, please contact the Eons Help Team for assistance.

How do I turn over management of a Group to another member?

If you are a group manager and you no longer want to be, or you are part of a group where the manager has become nonresponsive, send a PM (Private Message) to EonsTeam for assistance in changing management.
